Below i will outline our first 30 Bible verses. We started with our kiddos at about 2.5 with the simplest ones. We do each verse for a week and I usually turn each one into a little song and we say them each day at breakfast and throughout the day (at each meal is an easy way to remember). Be sure to talk to your child about what the verse means. Also hand gestures can help a child remember. Throughout the week or as it applies to our daily lives, we will review them.

So…here goes:

1. 1 John 4:8 “God is love.”

2. 1 John 3:23 “Love one another.”

3. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without stopping”

4. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks.”

5. Hebrews 13:5 “God will never leave you.”

6. Hebrews 13:6 “The Lord is my helper.”

7. Psalm 145:9 “The Lord is good to all.”

8. Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not. For I am with you.”

9. Genesis 1:1 “God created the heavens and the earth.”

10. Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God proves true.”

11. Romans 5:8 “While we were sinners, Christ died for us.”

12. Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”
